This is a GNOME Shell theme based on ANewStart suite. It's not included in the suite yet since I have to finish GTK3 theme, so I decided to upload gnome-shell theme separately.

Font in the preview: Alte Haas Grotesk

Icons:



Instructions:

Extract the zip file and move the 'ANewStart' folder to ~/.themes . This path is usually where GNOME Shell user themes are stored. Now, use the Gome-Shell theme extension to select ANewStart theme.

To install Alte Haas Grotesk font, download and extract the zip file and put all the TFF files in your ~/.fonts folder.

Compatibility: GNOME 3.2 and over.

2011-12-09 Update:
  • Added support for Dash extension

  • Removed application icon from the top-left bar


2011-11-11 Update:
  • Better scrollbars (specially in the applications overview)

  • Now popup-menus seem less "floating" (but I have to work further on them)

  • Less crowding of applications in the overview: now they're more ordered and spaced.

  • Solved little bug in the dash: now the theme should be slightly faster!


2011-11-10 Update:
  • Better font color in applications view and application categories

  • Improved rendering of window captions in the window view (now they're more clear and slight)

Già! Anche se con questa ultima versione di Ubuntu mi sa che dovrò smanettare più del solito per riuscire ad installarli... Ma non importa.

Is there a grey version of this theme? Gray-Revenge will not work for GTK3 right ?

I'm doing a theme also for gray revenge but you have to wait since I'm experiencing some issues with gnome-shell itself :(

ciao, intanto vorrei farti i complimenti per questo splendido tema... poi una domanda:

ho notato che rispetto ad altri temi questo sembra essere un pochino più "pesante" per esempio quando apro la dock (quella di gnome shell) o apro e richiudo attività mi scatta un pochino, è normale o è il mio pc?
